How do we survive the Energy Crisis in Philadelphia?

The costs of home heating and gasoline are soaring.
Production of gas and oil cannot meet demand; its not just price gouging.

Why don’t we know how to keep our houses comfortable with less energy?

We can barely afford to drive our cars.

How do we make affordable, convenient public transit a reality?

Half the price of food is the cost of the fuel to bring it thousands of miles to the supermarket.

Why is New Jersey no longer the Garden State, while our tomatoes come from California & Mexico?

Why are we encouraged to use more and more oil and gas, when these vital resources are beginning to run out?

How do we live a good life while using less energy?
Why don’t we control these basic sources of energy in the interest of all of us?

Burning too much oil, gas and coal are messing up the weather. Katrina and Rita may be only the beginning.

How we leave the world better than we found it for our children?

The challenges are big, but we can’t dodge them any more. Organizers are needed! Help our city and region -- not to grow, but to become the better place we deserve as our home.
