Community Service, Inc. is a national leader in the movement to develop sustainable small communities as a model for human society in balance with the world and at peace with itself. He is also the director of the film: “Cuba: The Community Solution” an inspiring documentary of Cuba’s amazing response to the loss of Soviet oil imports with a shift to organic farming, conservation, and renewable energy sources based on the community values of the Cuban Revolution.

A delicious lunch will be provided containing all locally grown food.
The Sustainability Fair will give you a chance to meet and learn about many organizations, which are already living the model we seek to expand. Included will be local food producers, local businesses offering products and services that are locally produced and with a minimum ecological footprint, as well as advocacy organizations whose work supports our goals.
1:00 Introduction To Workshops

In each strategic area, activists and experts will review the current state of our region, the risks we face if we don’t make a change, and suggest areas where we can make a difference collectively. Each workshop will then discuss strategies and campaigns we can join or begin to accelerate the changes which have to happen to make our region a healthier place to live, to wean us from fossil fuels, and reduce our contribution to global warming.
